Kalinga group of companies was founded by Mr. Balraj Sethi in 1961 and still presides over the group. The activities of the group have expanded to Cables, wires, pipes, adhesive tapes, lighting fixtures, CF Lamps, appliances, consumer durables, plastics, steel, construction, hotels, resorts and agro-products.

The company also holds certifications from the Bureau of Indian Standards for IS:3975 and IS:280 along with a world class galvanizing line for manufacturing material according to BS / JIS / ASTM requirements. Material is checked at the input level, during manufacturing at several stages and upto the point of final packing and dispatch. The manufacturing unit which spans 7000 Sq. meters also has a vast testing facility to carry out the chemical, electrical and physical tests mandated by our testing procedures.
